Ladybug is your one-stop shop for quilting, fabrics, notions and classes. We opened our doors in 2002, with a little over 2,000 bolts of fabric, and a variety of patterns, notions and books. We have continued to grow, adding new items, and making great friends among our customers.

We carry quality, 100% cotton fabrics by Moda, P&B, Benartex, Red Rooster, Windham, Timeless Treasures, and many more.

Fabric

If you need a fabric, and we do not have it in stock, we will make every effort to locate it and order it for you.

October & November Special

During October and November, for every 12 yards of fabric purchased in the store, get your Harvest Card punched and receive 2 yards of fabric free! Details are on your Harvest Card.

Class Policy

Our class schedule is listed at right. Just click on the Class Name for more information.

Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis.
Payment is expected at the time of registration.
Class fees do not include supplies.
Class fees are based on students purchasing fabric from Ladybug.
Shop with us for the best possible quality, and enjoy a 10% discount on class supplies.
Classes have a maximum and minimum number of students.
If minimum is not met, we reserve the right to cancel a class.
Material and supply sheets are available at registration.
Only registered class participants are allowed in classroom.
For classes requiring a Sewing machine (SM), please have a basic knowledge of your machine.
It is helpful to bring the machine manual with you.
Have the machine in good working order.

Refunds
If you must cancel, to receive a full refund, notification must be received at least 7 days prior to class.

Current Activities

We exhibit the work of local quilt artists in our store, with the exhibit changing every month. Currently, we are proud to display Quilts of Valor. Be sure to stop by Ladybug to see the beautiful quilts made for our wounded soldiers.

The Pleated Basket is one of many designs which Sara had created inspired by the antique Baltimore Album Quilts. This design is typical of the High Style quilts which have elaborate baskets and wreaths. Traditionally, these blocks are mostly done in red and green.

Hand piecing is so peaceful! Learn how easy it is to make complex pieced blocks by hand. A whole quilt can be made in those stolen monets while watching TV, waiting in doctor's offices, or during quiet periods of meditation. The La Moyne Star is a basic block that can be adapted to a variety of pieced designs. Patterns can be drafted to almost any size you desire. You won't need to drag your machines out for this session. Plan for a relaxing day of stitching where you can actually visit with friends!

Art of Basket Weaving – Cookie Basket [B]

Learn the art of basket weaving. This basket can be used for many different things. It's the perfect addition to any holiday table. Put a different cloth napkin in it for each holiday. If you have always wanted to make a basket, now is the time to do it! The basket has two genuine braided leather handles and a solid wood base. Leave it natural, or stain it.
